NewsFebruary, 7 Kylie signs with Jay-Z's labelKylie Minogue has signed up to Jay-Z's record label Roc Nation. The 44-year-old pop princess announced earlier this month she was taking time out from music to focus on her acting career, but she has apparently changed her mind after signing up to the rapper's R 'n' B and hip-hop label. Kylie announced the news by posting a picture of herself on Twitter wearing a cut-off T-shirt bearing the company's logo and wrote: "Kisses from my new home Roc Nation". Jay-Z also confirmed the news with a statement that said: "Roc Nation would like to welcome Aussie singer, recording artist, songwriter, actress and designer Kylie Minogue to the family. "In a career now spanning 25 years, Kylie has released 11 studio albums, two live CDs, eight live concert DVDs, a greatest hits double album, and multiple video packages. "She has released over 50 hit singles worldwide, including the Grammy-winning Come Into My World, and has sold more than 68 million albums worldwide. "Needless to say, we're excited to have Kylie join the Roc fam." Other artists signed to the label include Rita Ora, J Cole, Willow Smith, and Alexis Jordan. Roc Nation also manages stars including Rihanna, Shakira, Mark Ronson and M.I.A. The move follows Kylie's split from manager Terry Blamey, who helped launch her pop career when she was just 19-years-old with the release of Locomotion in 1987.
