The Sugababes are back together as Mutya Buena shares picture with Keisha Buchanan and Siobhan Donaghy
The Sugababes original lineup is back together leading fans to believe that the band is back together.
Mutya Buena, 34, broke the news on her Instagram stories by sharing a picture of herself alongside original bandmembers Siobhán Donaghy, 35, and Keisha Buchanan, 34.
A message alongside the photo said: “Me and my beauties today #studiovibez. @keishabuchanan @siobhandonaghy.”
Fans were quick to speculate on the picture with one person tweeting: “Can’t wait for them to record another album no one will every hear”.
Another said: “Little mix whooooo?? This is epic news.”
Meanwhile, a third fan tweeted: “Cannot wait for the girls to get the band back together and release new music.”
The Sugababes pop career lasted more than 13 years and saw four different incarnations of members. Siobhán was the first person to quit the trio at the age of 17, previously saying that depression was the reason she left in 2001.
Mutya became the second member to leave the band in 2005 and went on to release her debut solo album, Real Girl.
Keisha Buchanan remained with the group until September 2009 before she was dropped and replaced with Eurovision singer Jade Ewen, 31.
Mutya, Keisha and Siobhan did reunite under the name MKS and last year they told their followers they were working on new material.
