NewsJune, 13 Mel C, Sophie Ellis-Bextor and Professor Green among line-up for Tunbridge Wells Pub in the ParkThe popular three-day Pub in the Park returns to Tunbridge Wells next month with its celebration of food and music. It will again be held in the events field at Dunorlan Park. This year there is a new Live and Cooking zone which will give visitors even more entertainment. There will also be The Firepit and the Miele Chef Demo Stage where chefs will rustle up everything from brunch classics to dinner party showstoppers, along with veggie and gluten-free options. Hosted by Tom Kerridge and Simon Rimmer, there will be local restaurants and national chefs along with music on two nights and two afternoons. The restaurants at Pub in the Park will be The Kentish Hare, The Dog at Wingham, Hoppers, Sankey's, Cue Point, The Hand and Flowers, The Small Holding and Atul Kochhar Restaurants. Pub in the Park in Tunbridge Wells runs from July 8 to 10. The chef line-up is Tom Kerridge, Simon Rimmers, Atul Kochhar, Josh Moroney, Mursal Saiq, the Tanner brothers, Melissa Thompson, Adam Purnell aka Shropshire Lad, and Will Devlin. Trinity Theatre return with community stall holders and its much-celebrated Youth Theatre is understood to be hitting the stage before travelling to Edinburgh for the Fringe Festival this August. Live music is a massive part of Pub in the Park in Tunbridge Wells and this year promises a great selection of genres.
