NewsOctober, 29 Fifty thousand Oasis resale tickets cancelledTicketmaster plans to cancel roughly 50,000 resale tickets to Oasis' UK reunion concerts. The band's promoters, Live Nation and SJM, told BBC File on 4 that it will cancel all tickets for the band's UK dates listed on unauthorised secondary platforms. When tickets for the 2025 Oasis reunion tour went on sale, fans were told they could only purchase tickets at face value through Ticketmaster or resale partner, Twickets. The band's promoters said this was done in order to combat price inflation and prevent ticket touting. A spokesperson said, "These terms and conditions were successfully put in place to take action against secondary ticketing companies reselling tickets for huge profit. Only four per cent of tickets have ended up on resale sites. Some major tours can see up to 20 per cent of tickets appearing via the major unauthorised secondary platforms." According to Ticketmaster, the cancelled tickets were purchased using techniques that have been forbidden for the Oasis tour. Those include purchasing more than four tickets per household, per show, and using multiple identities to buy tickets. All invalidated tickets will be made available again through the official seller, Ticketmaster, at face value. The Oasis Live '35 tour kicks off in Cardiff on 4 July 2025.
