Killers to open Hard Rock Calling
The Killers will headline the opening night of Hard Rock Calling 2011.
The Las Vegas rockers, who opened the festival in London's Hyde Park two years ago, will return to perform at the event on Friday June 24.
Killers drummer Ronnie Vannucci said: "It's been too long, friends... Feels like forever since we've seen each other and now it's time we pay a visit.
"Have to get the machine oiled and ready to make this kinda thing happen more often. Feeling creative, let's do this."
The Somebody Told Me rockers took a year off last year while frontman Brandon Flowers went solo.
Brandon, 29, became a father again last month, when wife Tana gave birth to their third son Henry.
Peter Gabriel, Pearl Jam and The Police are also headlining at this year's Hard Rock festival.
