X Factor fly on wall footage shown
X Factor viewers will see contestants living together in fly on the wall footage for the first time when the show returns later this month.
The hit talent show is to return to ITV1 on August 20 with a 75-minute launch show.
And programme bosses today promised that innovations will include filming the wannabes when they are cooped up together during the contest.
ITV said the new series will also include extra audition shows and confirmed the final will be filmed in front of 10,000 people at Wembley Arena.
The broadcaster also promised "the biggest ever bootcamp, where contestants will perform in front of an audience of thousands".
The eighth series features Gary Barlow, Kelly Rowland, Tulisa Contostavlos and Louis Walsh as judges, with Dermot O'Leary returning as host.
