Bieber supports Kingston post-crash

Justin Bieber has said he plans to make more memories with his friend Sean Kingston after the accident which nearly cost the Stand By Me singer his life.

Sean had to undergo gruelling surgery after crashing his watercraft into a Miami Beach bridge with a female companion in May.

In a special MTV programme about the star, Justin - who collaborated with him on the track Eenie Meenie last year - revealed how he cheered up his pal.

"We were just hanging out at his house, kicking it, driving around Miami and whatnot," he said. "It was a lot of fun. I got to relax and take time off."

Justin, 17, added: "(Sean's)spirits are a lot higher. He still has to have people around him to make sure he's doing all right, but his spirits are high, and he's doing well."

The Baby singer also recorded a special message for his friend. He said: "I just want to say what's up, Sean? I'm glad you're doing well. I had fun hanging out with you in Miami, and there's plenty more memories to come."

During the show Sean also revealed that just as he was about to be released from hospital he was rushed back in to have surgery for a newly discovered heart problem.

"I'm 100 per cent right now. I've been in the house chilling, about to start work on my new album. I've got (producer and US X Factor judge) LA Reid now as my new president. I've got a story to tell now," he added.

"What the accident basically taught me is, in life, you have to count your blessings."
