Swift writes Hunger Games song

Taylor Swift, the Decemberists and Arcade Fire have recorded songs for the Hunger Games, it has been revealed.

The movie's companion album will be based on themes that appear in the film, according to Deadline.

Swift worked with T-Bone Burnett on a song called Safe And Sound, which is set to be the album's first single, while Win Butler and Regine Chassagne of Arcade Fire have written a song called Horn Of Plenty.

The movie adaptation of the hit young adult novel, starring Jennifer Lawrence as heroine Katniss, will be released in the UK on March 23, 2012.
