Labrinth still hopes for Bjork duet

Labrinth has revealed he's still keen on a collaboration with Bjork - despite missing out in the past.

The Earthquake singer was turned down by the Icelandic singer when he approached her for a duet, but reckons they could still work well together.

"I'd love to work with Bjork, I think she's great. I've loved a lot of her stuff since I was younger, and I remember my manager playing me a few of her songs," he said.

"I've always loved her videos, she's always had great visuals as well as music. I didn't actually like her when I first saw her, and I like the idea that she won me over."

Labrinth - who is helping launch the Spotify for iPad app - has been working on new material with US star Usher and could also be teaming up with Alicia Keys after chatting to the singer on the telephone.

But the 23-year-old Londoner kept tight-lipped about what they'll be working on.

"We've spoken over the phone and we're setting up some stuff, but we'll see what happens," he said.

"With me it could be anything, I could be playing the bass for her for all you know. But hopefully we'll write something together."
