Rihanna unapologetic about 777 tour

Rihanna has revealed that her 777 world tour was "exhausting".

The chart-topping superstar was joined by journalists as she performed seven intimate shows in seven countries in seven days, including London, Mexico City and Toronto, to promote her seventh album, Unapologetic.

"It was exhausting. It was definitely different having to do your job but also have 200 guests come along with you and they all want you to host the party every time they get on the plane and after the show," she told BBC's Radio 1.

"You really only have that time to sleep until you get to the next country and sometimes it was a two-hour ride," she added.

Some of the journalists on the Boeing 777 jet complained that they rarely saw Rihanna after the first day of the tour.

But Rihanna - who appeared on The X Factor last week - said: "I used my time wisely because I knew I had seven countries and seven shows and I had to save my voice. I didn't go crazy, I didn't party too hard. I did have fun though."

"I tried to get everybody involved but sometimes you just wish you could give more," she added.

The 24-year-old singer, who was cheered on by more than 1,500 fans when she played at The Forum in London's Kentish Town, revealed she still gets nervous before she takes to the stage.

"I always get nervous. Any audience but the smaller the audience, the scarier," she admitted.

"If you start thinking about all the people watching at home watching on TV, it's overwhelming."
