NewsFebruary, 8 Ora opens up about rise to fameRita Ora has admitted she thought she was heading for "another disappointment" when she met with Jay-Z's record label. The Hot Right Now singer revealed in Rio Ferdinand's #5 magazine that she had no idea the meeting a few years ago would be her big break, reports the Daily Mail. The 22-year-old British star said: "I'd sent my demos to RocNation when I was 17, then a few days later they called me up and said they wanted to meet. I panicked, thinking I wouldn't be able to afford to go, I started selling trainers, then I realised they were going to pay for me." But everything fell into place when Rita met the rap star. "I thought it was going to be another disappointment, but after 10 minutes we shook hands and then spent the next two hours having a DJ battle," she explained.
