Timberlake has top-selling album

Justin Timberlake had the best-selling album of 2013, it has been revealed.

The star's record The 20/20 Experience was the top-selling album, with 2.4 million units sold, Nielsen Entertainment announced.

Robin Thicke was also one of the year's biggest stars - his hit Blurred Lines was the best-selling song with 6.4 million tracks sold.

Releases from Eminem and Luke Bryan rounded out the top three albums. Macklemore And Ryan Lewis' Thrift Shop and Imagine Dragons Radioactive placed second and third on the singles list.

Albums sales were down over the year and single tracks also saw a decrease. However, streaming was up 32 per cent with 118.1 million streams. The sales figures include data from YouTube, Spotify and other digital outlets.
