Beyonce, Jay Z set for joint album?

Beyonce and Jay Z are rumoured to be secretly recording an album together.

The married music stars - who recently hit the road for their joint On The Run tour - have apparently started coming up with material for a record.

Sources told the New York Post's Page Six that the singers are now quietly spending time in the recording studio together.

Beyonce, 33, and Jay Z, 44, who are parents to two-year-old daughter Blue Ivy, hope to unveil the album later this year, or early in 2015.

It seems the power couple are hoping their surprise album does as well as Beyonce's last self-titled offering, which she suddenly released with no warning or promotion last year.

And it seems the couple might go one step further as it's thought that videos and possibly a film could accompany the release.
