Ian McKellen in George Ezra video

George Ezra has confessed he was nervous acting alongside Sir Ian McKellen after he agreed to star in his new music video.

The 75-year-old Lord Of The Rings screen legend appears in the video for George's new single Listen To The Man - and constantly interrupts him performing.

The 21-year-old singer told the Daily Mirror: "He just keeps butting in and p***ing me off.

"And stealing the camera. In real life, I hate being on camera but in the video, that frustrates me.

"It was nerve-racking trying to act beside him. I'm not an actor, and he's phenomenal."

George revealed after shooting the video he asked Sir Ian to come and watch him perform in Shepherd's Bush, to which the X-Men star replied: "Is there any chance you can play closer to Limehouse?"
