Kanye West's criminal record wiped clean

A Los Angeles judge has expunged Kanye West's 2013 paparazzi clash from his criminal record.

The Gold Digger hitmaker pleaded no contest to misdemeanour battery in March, 2014 for allegedly punching paparazzo Daniel Ramos and wrestling his camera to the ground at Los Angeles International Airport in 2013.

Kanye was placed on probation for two years, ordered to serve 250 hours of community service, attend anger management classes, and stay away from Ramos.

In March (16), the hip-hop superstar filed legal papers asking the judge overseeing his case to wipe the bust-up from his record, after completing his community service sentence by holding talks at the Los Angeles Trade Technical College (LATTC) and staying out of legal trouble during his probation.

Now it's been revealed Kanye's request has been granted, and the judge has officially removed the case from his criminal slate, according to court papers obtained by TMZ.com.

Ramos also sued the rapper for assault, battery, negligence and interference with his civil rights following the clash, but the two parties reached an agreement in April, 2015 to put the matter behind them. Kanye issued a public apology and the pair was pictured shaking hands, but it is not known if any payment was involved.

Kanye has since made an effort to stay on good terms with the photographers who follow his every move. He broke up a fight between two snappers at the same airport in February (16), and in March (16), he hitched a ride with a paparazzo after his Uber cab failed to show up at the airport terminal.
