According to The Blast, Lynne Spears filed new documents through her attorney, asking to be given “special notice” in “all matters” for which such notice may be requested. The documents reportedly pertain to the SJB Revocable Trust, which, according to ET, was set up in 2004 to manage the artist’s financial assets. The Independent has contacted Britney Spears’s representative as well as Lynne Spears's attorney for comment. There has long been public interest in Spears’s finances and how they are managed. In May this year, the singer’s conservatorship was extended until at least August of this year by a judge, Page Six reported at the time. Jodi Pais Montgomery, a professional fiduciary, has been named Spears’s temporary conservator. The conservatorship dates back to 2008. Spears’s father, Jamie Spears, previously held the position. He stepped down in September 2019 citing health issues.
