Celtic rally fans with Glasgow street teaser as Hoops match Rangers city claim
Celtic have claimed Glasgow as their own with a cryptic message on the city's streets.
The move comes after the Ibrox club branded several famous landmarks with their new badge including the Armadillo and the Finnieston Crane.
The city motto of People Make Glasgow was also altered in images shared by club social media accounts to say People Make Rangers as the Govan club added captions such as "Our Crest. Our City" and "Glasgow is Blue".
Now Celtic have made their own mark with a stencil that has appeared in hotspots around the city such as outside Glasgow Central Station, the Duke of Wellington statue and of course at their Parkhead home.
Images of the response were posted on the Hoops' Twitter account with the caption: "This is our City. These are our Streets."
The stencilled design reads: "One decade in the making 10.07".
The decade is a hint at the club's ultimate aim for the coming season: to win 10 In A Row.
And the date at the end is a reference to Friday's new Adidas kit launch, an event which has been teased by the club's social media accounts.
