Jessie J breaks down as she prepares to leave son for first time

Jessie J broke down in tears on Sunday as she prepared to leave her son to go on a trip for the first time since his birth.

The Price Tag hitmaker, who welcomed her first child in May, took to Instagram on Sunday ahead of an upcoming trip to Korea to ask fans for advice on leaving her four-month-old baby for the first time.

"I have had one night away from Sky since he was born. I have to leave for work next week for Korea for 4 days and I am legit dreading leaving him," she told her followers before asking, "Any advice or tips on making it feel less S**T."

"And yes I know some of you will think just take him with you... But it's too much flying and time difference for such a short trip," she continued. "I would have him in my pocket at all times if I could. Not literally. I don't have a pocket big enough."

Jessie then returned to Instagram shortly after to confess that she was seeking "reassurance" from her followers rather than advice.

"It's not advice and tips I need is it," she admitted. "It's support and reassurance. Dammit. Aries aren't good at admitting that."

The Domino singer added, "Deep breath."

In a following post, Jessie shared a clip of herself with tears running down her face.

"Me every time I think about it," she captioned the video.

The pop singer shares Sky with her boyfriend, basketball player Chanan Safir Colman.
