NewsMarch, 13 Beyoncé reveals title of upcoming country albumBeyoncé has revealed the title of her upcoming country album. The music icon revealed on Tuesday that her forthcoming country album is called Cowboy Carter. Beyoncé revealed the title of the highly-anticipated album on her official website, with the site's landing page featuring a horse saddle with a red, white and blue sash that reads "Country Carter". The hitmaker surprised fans in February by releasing two singles from the forthcoming album, Texas Hold 'Em and 16 Carriages. Texas Hold 'Em hit No.1 in both the U.K. and U.S. charts, marking the first time since 2003 that the singer has had a simultaneous chart-topper on both sides of the Atlantic. Beyoncé also made history by becoming the first woman to top both the Hot Country Songs and Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs charts since they began in 1958. On the merchandise page of her website, the Crazy In Love singer unveiled four limited edition CDs with different cover art and four vinyl versions in red, white, blue and black. The forthcoming release of Cowboy Carter comes two years after the release of Beyoncé's 2022 album, Renaissance. At the time, the Single Ladies hitmaker revealed that Renaissance would be the first part of a "three-act project". Cowboy Carter comes shortly after Beyoncé wrapped up her six-month world tour, which grossed $579 million (£456 million). The new album is due for release on 29 March.
