Harding 'working out solo sound'
Sarah Harding has admitted she's still trying to work out her solo sound.
The Girls Aloud star, who this week threw an engagement party with hubby-to-be Tom Crane, has been working on her own material - but doesn't want to release anything just yet.
"It's baby steps. It's not something I want to put out there until it's good enough really," Sarah explained.
"I'm still trying to find my direction. I'm just a bit of an all-over-the-spectrum kind of girl, I love all sorts of music, so it's really finding something that's current and suited to me and something that I'm going to enjoy as well."
Sarah, who's currently promoting the HTC Incredible S smartphone, remained coy about whether Girls Aloud will be releasing any more material together.
"You'd have to ask all of us! Never say never," she said.
It's been almost a decade since the five girls were chosen by the public on the ITV show Popstars: The Rivals, and Sarah admits it's been something of a whirlwind.
"It's kind of a bit of a blur, it's gone really quickly in some ways when I look back to when it all began. And there are other days on video shoots that took 24 hours they feel like the longest day of your life," she said.
"It's an achievement, definitely. We're very proud."
