Celebs join V Festival revellers

The stars turned out in all their shining glory for this weekend's V Festival in Stafford.

Weston Park was turned into a sea of 120,000 people - and just as many pairs of brightly coloured wellies - across Saturday and Sunday, as artists such as Rihanna, Eminem, Jessie J, The Saturdays and Arctic Monkeys took to the stage.

Some of the Hollyoaks cast were found chilling out in Virgin Media's Our Garden at the event, which had masseurs, make-up artists and hair stylists on hand for the lucky people who had access to the area.

Asked who she was most looking forward to seeing perform, Bronagh Waugh replied: "I think we're all buzzing about Eminem because he's making a comeback and he had said he was retiring so you can't miss this.

"I think for actors you can have a lot of similarities of inspiration because it's that poetry - it's truth and poetry which is similar to what we do so you can identify with that."

Emmett J Scanlan added: "He was my inspiration through college. You know, songs about his daughter which I can now relate to.

"So I'm looking forward to seeing him and Rihanna, but Rihanna for very different reasons!"

Speaking in unison Corrie's Sacha Parkinson and Brooke Vincent said: "We're looking forward to seeing Rihanna and Eminem."

Brooke added: "I was really looking forward to seeing N-Dubz but I missed them - gutted."
