Kylie needs time to recall lyrics

Kylie Minogue managed to forget the words to her number two hit Give Me Just A Little More Time at London's Hammersmith Apollo as the UK leg of her Anti Tour drew to a close.

She warned fans that she had only decided to add the song to the set-list two hours before the stripped-back concert which had been billed as an intimate show of rarities, B-sides and demos.

"This is going to be painting by numbers," she joked, clutching a print-out of the lyrics.

However, the pint-sized pop star fluffed the first verse and started laughing, allowing the audience to come to her rescue.

"I might have just murdered that song!" she joked afterwards with her four-piece band and three backing singers to deafening cheers from the crowd.

Another last-minute addition, her 1988 hit Got To Be Certain, again with lyrics in hand, went smoothly.

During the concert, she thanked song-writing partners and excitedly pointed out Pete Waterman from Stock, Aitken and Waterman sitting on the balcony before launching into back to back performances of his songs I'm Over Dreaming (Over You) and Always Find The Time.
