The Wanted heartthrobs Max George and Jay McGuiness have taken a break from their hectic US schedule to get new tattoos.

The pair, who performed new track Chasing The Sun on the Stateside version of The Voice this week, posed outside their Los Angeles hotel and showed off their new inkings.

Max, boyfriend of Corrie star Michelle Keegan, rolled up the sleeve of his T-shirt to flaunt a ring of roses tattoo, with three monochrome flowers and a red one.

Meanwhile curly-haired Jay revealed a huge bird in flight image on his right arm.

Max tweeted after their big TV performance: "Loved The Voice!! Hope you guys enjoy it!!!"

Irish bandmate Siva Kaneswaren added: "The Voice was feckin amazing! #thewantedonthevoice".
