Corden: Brits fuss over nothing

James Corden has insisted he's on friendly terms with Adele, despite the controversy surrounding the pair at this year's Brits.

The Gavin And Stacey star hit the headlines while presenting the music awards in February, when he was ordered to halt the singer moments into her acceptance speech because the show was over-running.

He told the Mirror that the pair had spoken since and that everything is fine between them.

"I've never known such a non-thing to become such a big thing... The truth is you want something to happen at the Brits... but is it really what we should be saying for our musical showcase of the year?" he said.

James, currently on Broadway in the New York transfer of the play One Man, Two Guvnors, became a father for the first time last year.

The star, whose family are living with him in New York, said: "It's given me a great sense of clarity.

"You get into your house and shut the door and it's lovely to be greeted by this person who's become the most important thing. It's amazing."
