Vickers: I still can't believe luck

Diana Vickers has admitted she still pinches herself over her fame.

The Once singer shot to stardom on the fifth series of The X Factor and has gone on to release self-penned material, bring out a clothing range, and star in West End show The Rise And Fall Of Little Voice.

"It's just wicked. I wake up every morning and feel I'm blessed," she said at the Virgin Media Louder Lounge at V Festival.

"It's been like five years now since I was on X Factor - I've bought a house, I live in London, I've travelled, I've got a lovely boyfriend, I've got my album, I write for other people, I've met fabulous people."

Diana, who attended the festival with her model boyfriend George Craig, revealed she has finished work on her new album.

When asked to describe how it sounded, she said: "It's between Kylie and Madonna, but early days. They've been my inspiration.

"Pop's the way forward, so I'm going to keep it very pop."
