Nick Grimshaw imposes Rihanna 'ban'
Nick Grimshaw has apparently scrapped Rihanna's new single as his record of the week after she cancelled an interview on his Radio 1 show.
The singer pulled out of a planned chat with the DJ at 6.25am on the morning they were set to begin a week of promotion for her new album, Unapologetic, the Daily Mirror reported.
Nick said: "I'm gonna have a tantrum because it's my favourite popstar.
"We're not mentioning her. We're not gonna promote it now."
The presenter - who is a big fan of the Rude Boy star - added: "We were told to bring Rihanna a gift, so I went and bought her something - which I'm now taking back."
Earlier this week Rihanna came under fire for not speaking to members of the media and competition winners she invited on her 777 tour of seven countries in seven days.
