Jepsen has good time on birthday
Carly Rae Jepsen recovered from illness in time to celebrate her 27th birthday on stage.
The Good Time singer had to cancel her support slot for Justin Bieber in Pennsylvania earlier this week after feeling unwell.
But Carly emerged from her sick bed to perform in Detroit and proclaimed it the "best birthday ever".
She tweeted a picture of herself on stage and said: "Thanks Detroit for a night to remember."
Carly also received a huge cake and a birthday gift from her band and crew - a hot pink mic stand.
The Canadian star tweeted: "Wow... Thanks for all the Bday wishes! I feel spoiled rotten."
Her pal Justin wrote: "Happy birthday @carlyraejepsen . Hope u r feeling better today!"
