NewsDecember, 3 More island festival acts announcedSinger-songwriter Jake Bugg, Blondie, Ellie Goulding and Bloc Party are among acts added to the line-up of next-year's Isle of Wight Festival. New Jersey rockers Bon Jovi and The Stone Roses have already been announced as headliners of the first major music festival of the summer. Other acts announced today are The Script, Paloma Faith, Imperial Teen, The Farm and Republica. Paloma said: "So excited to return to one of my favourite music festivals this year and hope the sun shines as beautifully as it did when I last played." John Giddings, the festival's promoter, said: "We are proud to present some of the best new music around, together with artists who helped scope the face of modern music - it's a stunning combination so far." Blondie said: "Oh, the Isle of Wight Festival is one of the best and most famous festivals in the world. Can't wait to play it again this coming summer." Tickets for the event, which takes place at Seaclose Park, Newport, between June 13 and 16, have already gone on sale.
