Bieber manager upset about Grammys

Justin Bieber's manager has insisted the star "deserved" a Grammy nod, saying the awards board "blew it" by leaving him off the list.

The 18-year-old pop sensation was snubbed when the nominations were unveiled this week and manager Scooter Braun took to Twitter to express his disappointment.

He said: "First... congrats to Carly Rae Jepsen. Thought you deserved a best new artist nom, but proud Call Me Maybe got you 2 noms. So proud of You. Second... this time there wont be any wise words, no excuses, I just plain DISAGREE. The kid deserved it. Grammy board you blew it on this one."

Scooter insisted Baby singer Justin had "delivered" and had earned his place on the list of nominees for the glitzy event, which will be held in February.

He tweeted: "Huge successful album, sold out tour, and won people over... This time he deserved to be recognised and I don't really have any kind nice positive things to say about a decision I don't agree with."

Justin, who has previously been nominated for Grammys but has yet to clinch one of the gongs, hasn't commented on the snub.

The Grammy nominations were revealed earlier this week and several acts are leading the field with six nods each. They are Kanye West, Jay-Z, Frank Ocean, fun., Dan Auerbach and British folk-rock act Mumford And Sons.
