Pink: I still feel like an underdog

Pink has revealed that she still feels like she has to prove herself.

Despite enjoying 13 successful years in the music business, which have seen a number of hits, and Grammys and Brits award wins, the 33-year-old - whose real name is Alecia Beth Moore - admitted she still sees herself as an "underdog".

"I still to this day after all of that nonsense, I still feel like I have so much to prove to people, they still don't get it. I'm always going to feel like a really popular underdog," she told The Sun.

"People to this day still go, 'Wow you can sing,' and it's been like 13 years of singing. As long as I'm alive there will always be more to say I think. I don't know what that is exactly, but as long as my body can keep up with my mind then I'll be alright."

The singer and mother-of-one, who performed at the Capital FM Jingle Bell Ball, said she would like to duet with Adele - because of her emotional vocals.

"I have to be able to hear your pain. Therefore I really like Adele. She has the amount of pain I require in her voice. She sounds heartbroken and beautiful. Like a songbird," she added.

Pink will embark on a 17-date arena tour of the UK and Ireland in April next year.
