Styles, Swift do some Dirty Dancing

Harry Styles and Taylor Swift wowed friends at a party by performing the iconic lift from Dirty Dancing.

The new couple - who were first linked after they were spotted looking friendly backstage at the US X Factor last month - recreated the famous move performed by Patrick Swayze and Jennifer Grey at One Direction's after-party following Z100's Jingle Ball at Madison Square Garden.

A photo - which has been posted online - shows the One Direction star lifting Taylor in his arms, while she throws back her head.

The caption says: "Harry Styles gives Taylor Swift a 'lift' at the One Direction MSG After Party!!"

A source told The Sun: "It was brilliant. The song came on and they just started dancing together. They didn't know it from start to finish, but towards the end they had a little chat, then she took a run and jumped into his arms. Everyone was laughing and egging them on."

A video clip from the event has also been posted on several sites and shows Taylor giving Harry a quick kiss.
