Dixon: The music world has changed

Alesha Dixon has said Atomic Kitten and 5ive aren't guaranteed to sell more records on the back of their TV reunion.

The bands have reformed for ITV2's The Big Reunion, a show which follows groups from more than a decade ago as they're put through their paces in two weeks of intense rehearsals for a one-off reunion performance.

But The Sun quoted the Britain's Got Talent judge as saying: "It will be interesting to see if any of them sell records off the back of the show.

"The music scene has changed, and with HMV going, everything is different."

Her comments come after Alesha confirmed that Mis-Teeq are planning to meet to discuss plans for a possible reunion.

We are speaking and we're having a meeting," the Metro previously quoted the Scandalous singer as saying.

"I am so up for doing something with the girls. I have been for a long time. I don't think anybody has actually filled the gap since Mis-Teeq left, which is quite worrying as I thought we were opening doors for people."
