NewsNovember, 27 Fifth Harmony star to miss Mexico gig due to bereavementFifth Harmony has asked fans to support singer Normani Kordei after she pulled out of the band's Mexico tour dates due to a death back home. The five-piece American girl group had been due to perform in Mexico City on Wednesday night (25Nov15) as part of their Reflection tour but just hours before their scheduled gig at El Plaza Condesa, the band announced on its Twitter page that Normani would not be joining them for the show. "We know some of you have been wondering and we wanted to let our Harmonizer family know that Normani will not be joining us in Mexico due to a death back home," the post read. "Mani is one of the strongest, kindest humans we know and we're sending her ALL of our love. The harmonizer family is so vast, let's help make her heavy heart light. Meanwhile, Mexico, lets do Mani proud." The remaining members, Ally Brooke, Dinah Jane Hansen, Camila Cabello and Lauren Jauregui are still on the bill to perform. It is still unclear whether or not Normani will perform with the group at their Foro Sol gig on 26 November. Normani has been absent from Twitter herself since Tuesday (24Nov15) when she posted a video of the girls at the American Music Awards last weekend (21-22Nov15) to her page. The band presented an award at the event, as well as stunning on the red carpet prior to the ceremony. Fifth Harmony has enjoyed worldwide fame with hit tracks such as Worth It after forming on the American series of The X Factor back in 2012. The Reflection tour is the band's first headlining tour and the girls enjoyed the opportunity to use their creativity to make the shows the best they possibly could. “As far as being the boss, we kind of dictated what we wanted the stage to look like as opposed to having only twenty minutes, and you not really being able to be as creative as you’d like," Normani told Idolator.com. "We really just got to incorporate our ideas and our input.”
