Adele's make-up artist sparks frenzy with photo of singer warning fans to 'get ready'

Adele's make-up artist appears to have let the cat out of the bag on her alleged comeback.

Rumours have been swirling the Hello singer is set to make a storming return to the charts following the end of her marriage to Simon Konecki.

Three years after Adele's last record breaking album release, 25, her make-up artist has let slip to fans that something 'exciting' is 'coming soon' in a cryptic post.

Stylist to the stars Michael Ashton, who has worked with Adele for 12 years, posted a glamorous black and white photo of the singer applying her make-up in the mirror.

As the caption he teased: "BTW..... EXCITING NEWS COMING SOON!!

"GET READY TO GET ON BOARD" added Michael.

The stylist did not give any more information leading eager fans to speculate if it meant an Adele comeback is imminent.

The post comes just days after the usually secretive Adele appeared on Instagram to chat about potential new music.

The Hello singer tuned in to an Instagram Live chat between producers Babyface and Teddy Riley.

Sadly for fans, the rare sighting of Adele was blighted by technical glitches.

"Come on, it's 2020! We ain't meant to get what we want!" laughed Adele.

Fans have been hoping for Adele's fourth album which, if anything like it's predecessors, could be an emotional look at her latest heartbreak.

Adele filed for divorce from her husband Simon Konecki in September last year.

One Republic frontman Ryan Tedder, who is collabroating with Adele on her new music, gave fans something to look forward to last month when he said she 'sounds better than ever.'

Ryan helped Adele write some of her best-loved hits including Rumour Has It and Turning Tables.

The Tottenham native's last album 25 was released in 2015 to huge commercial success, debuting at Number One in 32 countries.
