NewsNovember, 8 Little Mix The Search: Since September crowned winners in emotional finalSince September have been announced as the winners of Little Mix : The Search after a show stopping final. There was stiff competition throughout Little Mix's BBC talent show, that initially saw six groups handpicked from a selection of talented auditions. The new bands were then tasked with battling it out for a chance to perform with Little Mix in their upcoming tour. With two groups eliminated before tonight's final, the remaining bands - Melladaze, YChange, Since September and Nostalia - took to the stage to perform two songs in the live finale. In the show, the groups pulled out all the stops during their performances in front of Jade Thirlwall, Leigh-Anne Pinnock and Perrie Edwards. Little Mix's Jesy Nelson was unwell and was unable to make it to the final show. There were cheers from the judges as presenter Chris Ramsey finally handed the winning title to vocal and instruments group, Since September. The group will now go on tour with Little Mix when they embark on their Confetti tour. Scheduled for April next year, the group will perform at locations in Dublin, Newcastle, Cardiff, Glasgow and London. As well as some impressive performances from the competitors, tonight's show also featured an iconic show from Zara Larson who sang alongside backing dancers in face masks. The songstress even told the groups that she would be happy to have any of them support her on tour. Little Mix also performed a stunning song at the start of the show - although Jesy was sorely missed. The final comes just one day after the semi-finals where boyband New Priority were sent home. BBC producers were forced to postpone the semi-finals last week to make way for Prime Minister Boris Johnson's new lockdown announcement. Despite the setbacks, the winning group has come out on top much to the approval of excited viewers.
