NewsApril, 14 Little Mix's Perrie Edwards has warning for Newcastle as Confetti tour heads to Utilita ArenaPerrie Edwards has Little Mix fans suitably hyped up after issuing a playful warning to Newcastle to 'be ready,' in the aftermath of the first dates of girl group's Confetti tour. After the former X Factor winners announced at the end of last year that they'd soon be going their separate ways, anticipation for the tour has soared even higher, especially given it was meant to happen in 2021 but was massively delayed due to the coronvirus pandemic. After Little Mix fans has been chomping at the bit to see Perrie, Jade and Leigh-Anne live on stage once again, the ladies kicked off their Confetti shows at the weekend in Belfast, with social media soon awash with spoilers and excited reactions to what they'd seen. The Little Mix tour setlist also caused a real stir online, with many fans declaring it had 'banger after banger after banger,' while others pointed out the absence of hits like Hair and DNA. South Shields singers Perrie and Jade will enjoy a return to home turf as Newcastle becomes the next stop on the Confetti tour, with the band also playing to packed crowds in Dublin this week. There will be three Little Mix shows at the Utilita Arena over Easter weekend: one on Friday night, a Saturday matinee and a Saturday evening show. And Perrie had a message for those who've got tickets to see her Jade and Leigh-Anne in the Toon. Taking to her Instagram late on Wednesday night the 28-year-old wrote: "Belfast and Dublin. Wow! Thank you for making the Confetti Tour so special to us! You gave us your all and I love you so so much! Newcastle, I hope you're ready!" Perrie's post comes after bandmate Jade admitted to being 'overwhelmed,' at being back out on tour. Posting a photo of herself on stage, she wrote: "Feel so overwhelmed being back onstage doing my most favourite thing in the world again with my sisters. No better feeling."
