NewsApril, 18 Led Zeppelin frontman and iconic rocker Robert Plant visits Hull's new Vintage StoreLed Zeppelin frontman and rock star icon Robert Plant made a surprise visit to Hull's newest fashion store, much to the surprise of staff, shoppers and music lovers. The icon visited The Vintage Store in St Stephen' Shopping Centre, following its opening on Saturday. Robert Plant, who was lead singer and song writer for Led Zeppelin for their entirety, was pictured outside of The Vintage Store with members of staff, and also inside the store at the new Dazzler's concession. He was pictured browsing through the rails, looking for some vintage finds. The frontman is currently touring alongside Suzi Dian as part of Saving Grace. They still have a few more dates as part of their UK tour, including playing in Liverpool, Middlesbrough and Halifax. They performed at Hull City Hall on April 14. Excited followers of The Vintage Store left comments underneath the post calling Robert an "absolute legend" and saying "what an honour" it was to have such a rock icon enter their store. He was also pictured alongside owner of Dazzlers Vintage, Yasmin, where he browses the rails of their 60's and 70's clothes. The Vintage Store has taken over where Topshop used to reside in Hull's St Stephens. With a manic first weekend with queues out the door, the store is now open for thrift-lovers everywhere to enjoy.
