Cher's 37-year-old boyfriend doesn't get 'most of my references'

Cher has opened up about her relationship with Alexander 'A.E.' Edwards.

Speaking to Extra on Tuesday, the Believe singer, 77, shared that she and the 37-year-old model "have a great time together".

"We can talk music. We can talk about everything. He's got a great sense of humour, he's got the cutest son in the world, ever," Cher gushed. "We just get each other."

The star also confessed that their 40-year age gap often lead to confusion, admitting that sometimes Alexander "has no idea who I'm talking about".

"The other day, I said, 'Do you know who, I don't know, Clark Gable, (is)?' Somebody said, 'Yes, of course,' but most of my references... He'll look at me and go, 'I wasn't born yet,'" the singer explained.

Cher and Alexander were first romantically linked in November 2022 after being spotted holding hands during a stroll in Los Angeles.

After reportedly splitting in May, the couple rekindled their romance in September and appeared together at the Balmain fashion show in Paris.

The couple have reportedly beencollaborating on Cher's first-ever holiday album, titled Christmas.
