Blue release Eurovision entry

Blue's Eurovision entry I Can has been released after the pop band thrilled crowds at G-A-Y with a patriotic show with a royal wedding theme.

Performing the UK's entry for the May 14 song contest, the band arrived on stage in full wedding costume accompanied by four 'brides'.

But there was a surprise in store when the band tore off the brides' dresses to reveal four men who stripped to Union Jack pants and socks.

Blue's Duncan James said: "The whole nation is feeling so patriotic this weekend, that we really wanted to do something as a tribute to William and Kate.

"As we're representing the UK ourselves in just under two weeks, how could we not get behind the Royal Wedding fever?

"The feeling of support for the UK currently is amazing. When we've travelled round Europe promoting Eurovision there is a really good feeling for us Brits out there.

"Hopefully the Royal Wedding fever is gonna help us get douze points at Eurovision."

The four-piece face competition from X Factor twins Jedward, representing Ireland. Bookmaker William Hill ranked Blue 7/1 to win with Jedward on 20/1.

The bookie's favourite on 5/2 is France's entry - well known tenor Amaury Vassili with Sognu (meaning Dream).
