Jason Derulo to co-host the Mobos
Jason Derulo is to take on hosting duties at the Mobo Awards.
The US star is the first co-presenter announced for the bash, which will see performances by himself, Jessie J, Katy B and Alexis Jordan.
"It's a real honour to be presenting and performing at the Mobo Awards this year. It's such a huge event to be part of and I'm super excited to come back to the UK - it's going to be a lot of fun!" he said.
Jason will be joined on stage with a glamorous female co-host, who will be revealed shortly.
Fans will be able to cast their vote for the Best Newcomer on www.facebook.com/moboofficial to ensure their favourite artist takes the title from August 31.
Kanya King MBE, CEO and founder of the Mobo Awards said: "The addition of the Facebook category will add even more excitement to the night. It is a first for Mobo as all previous awards have been hosted on www.mobo.com but we want to mix things up and move with the times.
"It will be great to see the fans get behind their favourite Best Newcomer this way," she added.
