Animal lover Lewis backs sanctuary
Chart-topping singer Leona Lewis appears to be feeling a little horse - as she visits an animal sanctuary.
The Bleeding Love singer met her new four-legged friend Hope at the Hopefield Animal Sanctuary, Brentwood, Essex, for which she is patron.
X Factor winner Lewis pops down to the centre - which provides a home for rescued animals - whenever she can to volunteer.
During her visit, the welly-clad star also fed the goats and met staff.
She has pledged long-term support to the sanctuary and is in the process of putting together fundraising plans to develop the site. Many of the buildings need repair or replacement and animal-loving vegetarian Lewis hopes ultimately to build an education centre there.
