Rihanna gears up for plush NYE gig

Rihanna has been enjoying some rest and relaxation before a luxury New Year's Eve concert in her native Barbados.

The We Found Love singer is joining boyband The Wanted for a posh bash on the island's exclusive Sandy Lane resort after the end of her hectic six-month run of gigs.

The star was snapped having fun on the beach before Saturday's performance, and has also reportedly been living it up at a number of parties in Barbados.

A source told The Sun: "Rihanna went to a fish restaurant first where she sank a few drinks and bought seafood for a hundred or so punters there. Then she went to a 'lime on the hill' where people gather and dance to sound systems."

Meanwhile, The Wanted have also been soaking up the Bajan sun.

Band member Nathan Sykes posted a snap of the sea on Twitter and wrote: "Take it you all now know why we don't want to leave Barbados? Haha."
