Jessie J: I don't label sexuality

Jessie J has said she doesn't want to be labelled because of her bisexuality, she just does what makes her happy.

The 24-year-old singer and The Voice coach told US Glamour magazine she would never be embarrassed or try to hide who she is.

Jessie said: "For me, I want it to be less about sexuality and more about being comfortable in who you fall in love with.

"If I meet someone and I like them, I don't care if they're a boy or a girl. You should never, ever apologise for anything that makes you happy.

"The frustrating thing is that if I was with a guy right now, I'd be [considered] straight. But if I was with a girl, I'd be gay.

"When I was with my ex-girlfriend, I used to take her around and say, 'This is my girlfriend.' People would be comfortable with it because I was.

"I'm never, ever going to let it be something that sells my music. Sexuality shouldn't define you. It should be part of who you are."

The Do It Like A Dude star, who insists she is happy and single right now, despite rumours she is dating Tinie Tempah, said her parents had brought her up to be comfortable with herself.

She said: "You know what it is? I have such an amazing mum and dad who have been married for 32 years and my sisters always made me feel like I was amazing.

"No one ever tried to suppress who I wanted to be. I never got embarrassed."
