Prof Green's 'hand of friendship'

Hip-hop duo Chiddy Bang had to cancel their Australian tour to support Professor Green, but they don't regret it.

The US outfit, rapper Chiddy Anamege and DJ and producer Noah Beresin, signed up to join the rapper after meeting him at Glastonbury.

"He was one of the first UK artists to extend the hand of friendship. He's such a friendly guy," Noah, 21, said.

"We were getting off a tour bus at Glastonbury in 2010 and I saw him. I said to Chiddy, 'Look there's Professor Green' but he heard me and turned around and came over to talk to us.

"We hung out, and have become friends since then. We had to cancel a whole Australian tour to do these UK shows with him, but we couldn't miss it."

Chiddy Bang, who are currently on tour supporting Professor Green throughout the UK, are signed to a British label.

"We're signed to a UK label, we're not signed in the US... the American labels just didn't seem into what we were doing," Noah said.
