Jessie J to play iTunes Festival

Jessie J has been added to the line-up of the iTunes Festival, after missing last year's event because of a broken ankle.

The chart-topping star - who was also a coach on BBC One's The Voice - will play the free event at London's Roundhouse on September 21.

The Price Tag singer was forced to pull out of a number of shows after injuring herself during rehearsals for a gig. She had to have a bone transplant during reconstructive surgery and was on crutches and wearing a brace on her lower leg for a spell.

She said: "I was gutted to not have played at last year's iTunes Festival. This year is going to be epic, I can't wait.

"I love the Roundhouse - it's one of my favourite London venues - and this gig will be made even better as it's free and millions of my fans around the world can watch it live at home."

She joins a diverse array of acts such as Noel Gallagher, JLS, Jack White and Andrea Bocelli who are on the bill for the month-long event.

Tickets are free to competition winners and the shows will be available to view online.
