Safety concern's for Jay-Z's fest

Jay-Z's Made In America festival in Philadelphia will not be overshadowed by the violence seen at it's Independence Day concert, the mayor has said.

The hip hop star's two day concert is scheduled for Labor Day weekend at the beginning of September.

Philadelphia officials are working to downplay safety concerns following a triple shooting near the city's July Fourth concert.

Mayor Michael Nutter said the violence shouldn't mar a hugely successful event attended by about half a million people.

The Made In America concert featuring Jay-Z and Pearl Jam will be held in the same location. City officials say they are just beginning to plan for the event.

Logistical details have been hard to come by since the show was announced in May. Only 18 of 28 planned performers have been named.
