Tulisa slams Cher bottle throwers

Tulisa Contostavlos has criticised music fans who hurled a bottle at singer Cher Lloyd when she was performing on stage.

The Swagger Jagger star, 19, was forced off stage after the recent incident, when a bottle, reportedly containing urine, was thrown at her during the V Festival in Chelmsford, Essex.

Singer and X Factor judge Tulisa, told Capital FM: "I just call it adult bullying, it's ridiculous... people forget how young she is and vulnerable."

The N-Dubz star said that she faced similiar attacks, telling the station: "I get bottles thrown at me all the time, but I'm so used to it that I'm just ducking and diving and carry on singing.

"You know me, I'll have a go at the person who does it anyway so it doesn't really bother me as much."

Cher returned to the stage after the incident but had to leave when she faced more bottles.

She has spoken in the past about being targeted by online bullies since she appeared on the X Factor, saying: "There have been many times when I've cried myself to sleep."
