DJ Fresh: Rita Ora's a true star

Rita Ora is a "real star", DJ Fresh has said.

The producer, whose real name is Dan Stein, collaborated with the Kosovan-British singer on chart-topping hit Hot Right Now and knew that she would be a huge success, as she celebrates her third number one single with How We Do (Party).

"I'm definitely not surprised by Rita's success. She's a real star and it was only a matter of time before the world would realise that," he said.

"Every so often an artist comes along that defines the moment and right now that's Rita."

Dan, whose third studio album Nextlevelism will be released on October 1 prior to a nationwide tour in November, would like to work with Rihanna, who Rita has been compared to.

"I'd love to produce Rihanna. Rob Smith from The Cure would also be fantastic," he said.

The drum and bass producer, who is also playing the iTunes Festival, can't wait to hit the road.

"After spending so long in the studio we can't wait to take the tracks out on the road. We sold out the last two tours, even increasing the capacity for some of the shows, so this time we're taking it to bigger venues than ever before with our biggest production yet. Hopefully it'll blow everyone away," he added.
