Gaga enjoys safari in South Africa

Lady Gaga has been getting back to nature on safari in South Africa.

The Bad Romance singer is on tour and took some time out to visit the lions and tigers.

She tweeted: "SAFARI PICTURE: in this photo I'm about 10 feet from 13 lions, 2 cubs. I spent about 30 minutes w them and took a nap!"

Gaga posted a picture of herself in a safari-style hat.

She later tweeted: "& yes I cut a hole in my bush hat so my pony could stick out. #SafariBarbie #Glambi my scarf was a gift from the Princess of Monaco, thanku!"

The 26-year-old singer touched down in Johannesburg earlier this week as she continues her world tour.
