Stewart gets a Strictly big screen
Rod Stewart reportedly needed a big screen displaying his song lyrics for his Strictly Come Dancing performance.
The 67-year-old star, who will be seen singing Let It Snow on the Christmas Day edition of the BBC show, apparently asked for the 32in plasma screen after he had some difficulty remembering the words to the festive favourite, reported The Sun.
"It isn't usual for guests to ask for help with the words. Rod also requested a screen as he couldn't read the autocue," a BBC insider told the paper.
Rod's appearance was apparently hit by technical hitches, and had to be stopped five times.
The singer, who is promoting his debut Yuletide album Merry Christmas, Baby, even joked to his wife Penny Lancaster: "It's just like my sex life - stop and start."
